History

Energy Alloys started in 1995 with a small investment, a big idea and a handful of employees in a one-room office. The following year, we leased a 3 acre stocking facility at Goodnight Trail in Houston, and the rest is history.

By 1999, our company's revenue grew an astonishing 200 percent since its inception. As customers grew, Energy Alloys grew to meet their needs. For example, when Smith International Inc. entered the market in Dubai in 2004, Energy Alloys worked closely with our customer and opened a stocking facility to service their needs. Energy Alloys has since expanded to Canada, England, Scotland, Singapore and Mexico to meet the needs of our customers globally.

Energy Alloys pioneered the business model of Alliance Partnerships that are customized for each customer's needs, creating a model that has proven to be sustainable because of its value to the customer. Alliance Partnerships now represent more than half of our business. Through these partnerships, we tailor our oilfield steel supply chain to meet the needs of each manufacturing location. This includes material selection, inventory configuration and systems and processes.

Throughout the company's history, we've remained committed to having an entrepreneurial attitude and remaining nimble, adapting to our growing customer needs. The company has also maintained a culture of fun. The management team believes that having an open, enjoyable supportive work environment is critical to recruiting and retaining the top talent required to offer great customer service.

Revenue Growth   Awards and Accolades

Energy Alloys has experienced substantial growth since starting in 1995. By applying concepts like just-in-time inventory, and consultative selling, to the oilfield industry, before the rest of the industry was doing so, we they have been a true innovator in the industry, and continue to be today.
